Florida XIII – co se jinam nevešlo

Florida byl zatím nejlepší ptačí zážitek v mé dosavadní krátké „kariéře“ fotografa divoké přírody a jen ten, kdo žije v oblastech s průměrnou ptačí populací dokáže pochopit ten úžas, který člověk zažije, když se poprvé dostane do vyhlášených floridských lokalit. Po třech týdnech strávených na Floridě, z nichž jsem se focení ptáků mohl věnovat naplno zhruba 10 dní zůstalo na mých paměťových kartách tolik fotek, že jsem se jimi s přestávkami prokousával téměř 8 měsíců. Stovky a tisíce fotek, které bylo třeba hodně promazat ač většina z nich byla stále dost dobré kvality ve srovnání s tím, co člověk běžně vyfotí v Evropě. Tak už to ale chodí, proto také většina našich wildlife fotografů míří každoročně do zahraničí, kde lze hezkou fotografii získat (a ať mi nikdo netvrdí, že to není pravda!) mnohem snáze.

Zbylo mi tak ještě několik fotografií, které se nevešly do žádného z čtrnácti článků, které jsem k floridskému výletu již napsal ale které by byla škoda nepublikovat – zde tedy jsou…

 

Sýček králičí (Athene cunicularia)

Ke známé lokalitě v Cape Coral jsem se vydal asi šestkrát ale teprve při poslední návštěvě jsem našel sýčka sedícího na bidélku – většinou byli sýčci schovaní ve svých zemních norách…

Za zobouny jsem se vypravil na pláž Bay Bunche Beach Reserve ve Fort Myers – zobouni seděli neaktivně na mělčině a tak jsem vlezl do vody a snažil se je nadzvednout a přimět k činnosti. Zpočátku si mě nevšímali, nakonec se povedlo pár fotografií a když jsem se po dvou hodinách zvedal z vody, byl jsem tak vymrzlý, že jsem se téměř nemohl hýbat.
