Christmas Eve has come…Im not very old to be retrospecting but even I already remember the freezing and snowy Christmas in the times when I was a little boy. Today at Christmas Eve I went out to search for a bit of peace but insted of that the noise of ATV (quad-bike) distracted me from not far away. Christmas is supposed to be a time of calm and peace but not everyone is happy at this time – from behind the hill I could hear the noise of hunting-gun shooting – deer is not safe even at Christmas time! There is no snow around and as I remember this is not an exception in the recent years; we have a president who insist on climate changes not even to exist but I feel that desregarding global warming is real or not, the mother Nature does not have it easy with us at all! The only advantage of having no snow and freeze at this time is the fact that the birds do not suffer from cold and hunger... ...but back to the Christmas Eve 2008 - at the end I found one of the Christmas symbols during today small walk – the “snowman” – there was a flock of them wandering in the bush at the fringe of our village and I realised with the good feeling in my heart that the Nature is strong fighter and if we help it a little we can hope to get one more chance to live in balance with it...
